Round 6 Review – Hawkesbury River

S.S.B.S Round 6 Results

Darryn McColl from team R Factor, a beast of a fish at 1.375kg.

Round 6 was held on the Hawkesbury River. 13 kayakers and 48 boating teams competed. This system offers everything for Bream to occupy, from wharves to floating pontoons, rocky points, mooring yards deep bays shallow weed beds and creek snags, maybe thats why the fish, for most, were so hard to find.
For the kayakers, Ronnie Sonter won the day with the only 3 fish full bag limit weighing 1.610kg, qualifying for the Grand Final.
Kustom Fishing Tools, Nick Reay and Lucas Pratt done it for the boaters with an impressive bag of 5 fish weighing 3.300kg, only 3 other teams managed 5 fish, well done Nick and Lucas you lads are in for the GF.
The Culburra Bait and Tackle/Hobiecat Australasia Big Bream was caught by Darryn McColl from team R Factor, a beast of a fish at 1.375kg.
